B. Privileges, Inhibitions, and Disqualifications


The President of the Philippines, as the head of the executive branch, is vested with significant powers and privileges under the 1987 Constitution. However, alongside these privileges, the Constitution and pertinent laws also impose strict inhibitions and disqualifications on the President to ensure accountability and to prevent abuse of executive power. I. PRIVILEGES

  1. Immunity from Suit During Tenure
